And damn right i celebrate this, here is why, after not being able to keep track of new music from 2007-2008 ( i think it was a period of say 18 months, wich is long for music nerds like I’d to concider myself) the japandroids were one of the first acts to get my attention, it was when their lp post-nothing was not released, a french friend of mine sended me young heartz spark fire and so my interest grew and i was ssatisfied when they released post-nothing.
And yet again I am. Fuck me indeed I got nothing to tell to you besides that I’m enthousiast over this.
Thanks to Terri who mentioned the new album somewere recently. And then there’s adam, mon amor. who vanished.. like a spot after a wipe with oxy action.
just listen and like me feel like celebrating so we may celebrate together, although i don’t care im as we here say remi enough on this planet as i dont need you, I want to without you!

Just wanted to post some photos from the face melting, party-till-you’re-puking shows that took place in Toronto this past weekend.
The Sexareenos Friday (2/24) at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern:
Formed after the breakup of The Spaceshits in 1999, These guys have only recently started playing shows again since they disbanded about ten years ago. With garage pioneer, Mark Sultan manning the drums, you can expect to see a mind numbing performance from The Sexareenos any day of the week. Unfortunately, these shows are are rare as Mark is an insanely busy man and they only seem to play close to their hometown of Montreal. Check the pictures below and catch Mark on his upcoming tour of the US/Canada.

Also hailing from the early 2000’s, The Spits are a Seattle based garage punk group that has released records on Dirtnap, Slovenly, and In The Red (among other labels). Their songs have become staples in the garage rock genre. They play every show like it’s a fucking party, and you are likely to leave with a headache if you attend one (I know I did). They are currently in the middle of their tour so get out there and see them if you can.
